rolf weichardt
Rolf is the National Director of Youth For Christ, South Africa. Raised in a conservative Afrikaans family during the apartheid years in South Africa, he spent most of his formative years in strictly segregated schools and communities. In his final year of high school he had a personal encounter with God and committed his life to Christ, later becoming an instrument in the dismantling of apartheid in his country.
In 1991 he founded the ministry of ‘Khanyisa’, a group of South Africans that would preach the message of racial reconciliation through their music and dance in high schools, churches, prisons and various institutions around the world until 2001. The members of this racially and culturally diverse band were committed to viewing their lives through the common lens of WORSHIP!
Over the years Rolf has been actively involved in training Youth For Christ touring teams, and thousands of young people for the purpose of reaching the lost and serving The Church.
Rolf lives in Cape Town and is married to Lizzie and has four children aged, 24, 21, 18 and 9.

He is extremely passionate about helping believers in Christ live an abundant life. Because of the incredible and all-sufficient grace of God he has experienced in his own life, he shares a message of true liberation and power.
An ordained United Methodist minister, he came out of the business world to pastor churches on the Gulf Coast for fourteen years and currently serves The Alabama West Florida Conference as and Evangelist and staff member at Dauphin Way UMC in Mobile, AL.
A very contagious man, married to Shannon, father of 5, grandfather of 6, and still looks 30!
